After 7 months on the BIP

Posted on August 28, 2018 by Basic Income Participant

-We were nearly stress free
=Husbands hair had stopped falling out after we left ODSP and was growing back
-Migraines and seizures have been cut in half meaning less pills and pain
-Fainting spells have been reduced allowing me to take the pills less often
-More able to focus on getting my memory problems under control
-We were able to afford to attend our sons graduation from university
-Enjoyed a roast beef diner for the first time in many years
-Better foods have my very low sodium level under control
-Allowed us to get the utility bills all caught up
=The earlier payment date allowed us to stop paying late fee’s every month on utilities
=Has given us the abilty to break free of the phone/tv/internet packages merry go round and save over $60 per month
-Memory problems had kept me from helping my husband with food preparation and housekeeping but now I’m able to do some small things
-Our housing is not the best but being able to paint some rooms for the first time in 15 years makes things seem much better/cleaner
-I was feeling like a real person again and not breaking down every time something happened.
-There is more but I feel uncomfortable right now

Now its over
